Kendov Dvorec, offering a splendid view over the nearby mountain peaks, is a good starting point for short and long hikes in nature. Discover the diversity of the world between the Alps and the Karst, that was mysteriously shaped by nature. Take a walk across the hills, through the forest, all the way to the banks of the Idrijca river. Enjoy the views that open up from the ancient pilgrimage trail between Spodnja Idrija and Ledine.

Hiking trails in the surroundings
ALONG THE IDRIJCA RIVER
One of the most popular hiking trails in Spodnja Idrija will take you from Kendov Dvorec through the village, across the bridges over the confluence of the Idrijca and Kanomljica rivers and along the riverbank.
ON THE PILGRIMAGE TRAIL
The old pilgrimage trail from Kendov Dvorec leads upwards, towards Ledine village. Folk tradition says that pilgrims once used to arrive at Spodnja Idrija by this trail to recommend themselves to the Virgin Mary for a rich harvest and protection against hail.
TO THE KANOMELJSKE KLAVŽE
The signs will take you from the Srednja Kanomlja village to Kanomeljske klavže barrages. At the end of the trail, you will be rewarded with a view over the famous water barrages that were built at the time of Napoleon’s Illyrian Provinces.
